The Institute for EU-Gulf Partnership (IEGP) is an independent and not-for-profit, non-governmental research institute, established to support the development and delivery of strong and sustainable partnerships at all levels between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU). IEGP aims to be a world-class research institute that is acknowledged as the premier source of understanding and knowledge concerning relations between Europe and the Gulf.

The institute generates and shares information and knowledge that will foster improved understanding and will promote stronger Gulf-European relations through rigorous research, objective analysis and the development and delivery of strong and sustainable partnerships.

IEGP provides a platform for independent research, dialogue and knowledge transfer between the Gulf countries and Europe through strategic partnerships, analytical studies and cultural engagement activities. IEGP’s programme of research and engagement is based on an interdisciplinary, interlinked series of key policy areas for mutual cooperation examining the cultural, economic, political, social, and technological dimensions of strategic partnership with a clear focus on delivering results.
